Staying connected with clients (and colleagues & family!) is more important now, than ever. You already offer phone and email support to your clients, but could you be doing more? Here are some great tips for keeping in contact with clients, while social distancing.

1. Social Media – With a majority of people home and working remotely, social media is a great place to start when staying connected. By following clients and businesses, you’re not only supporting them, but you can connect instantly. Applications like Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Skype or WeChat make it easy and user-friendly to check in online.

2. Virtual Meetings – Zoom, Skype, GoToMeeting – you probably have at least one of these downloaded at this point. Continue scheduling meetings using video conferencing options so clients can still get face time with you, without being there in-person. See a real life video conference here. It’s worth watching!

3. Keep Tabs – If you aren’t signed up on client’s newsletters yet, or following them on social media, now is the time. This is a great way to keep tabs to ensure you aren’t missing any important announcements or milestones. You may also create online alerts for key clients, or noteworthy content, so you can keep information and words of encouragement flowing to your contacts.

4. Exceptional Customer Service – You may have clients that have more time on their hands so they might be following up on a previous project, starting something new, asking questions, whatever it might be, continue providing exceptional customer service. This is the time that clients will remember how you’ve responded to their needs.

5. Be a Good Human – At the end of the day, we are all going through this together. Use these lines of communication to check in on clients, colleagues, family, and whoever else may need a little extra support during this time. Kids are home, people are telecommuting, birthdays/anniversaries/accomplishments/etc. are all taking place online – say hello and be intentional.

If you have any questions, feel free to send us a note at support@realcoreapps.com. We look forward to connecting!
