Who doesn’t like a fresh start – especially after 2020? The time is now. As we approach 2021, it’s time to reflect on the year behind us and set goals for a better year, and you, ahead. Here are some Realcore tips for personally and professional preparing for the New Year.

1. Be prepared - Have a plan – and write out the steps to accomplish that plan. Setting a goal is the first obvious step but planning out the steps to execute is essential to making it happen. Whether it’s increasing sales from LY, closing a certain number of deals, buying an investment property or running a marathon, prepare the steps to achieving your New Year goals.

2. Find a mentor - A mentor is essential to achieving personal and business aspirations. They offer a new perspective, are a great source of knowledge, and encourage personal & business growth. They keep you accountable and push you to be the best version of yourself. Whether it’s a colleague, a relative, or an inspiring thought leader in your industry, connect with a mentor that may be able to help guide you on your current personal and career path.

3. Leverage social media - According to the Content Factory, “90% of all marketers say social media marketing has increased their business exposure” and that “66% of marketers that spend at least 6 hours on social media per week have seen more leads.” That’s huge! This past year has certainly taught us that we need to be adaptable in any situation – even contactless situations. Therefore, social media is essential to any personal, business and/or marketing plan. Grow your business and stay in contact with friends & family. Here are a few tips on how you can enhance your social media presence.

4. Keep up with technology - Staying organized, connected, and detailed can help you reach goals quicker. Today, simplified processes, faster connections and quicker results bring companies to the forefront. Using platforms like Realcore means real-time data, quicker closing of transactions, accurate reports, digital filing cabinets of years’ worth of files, fast data imports and esports, and painless prospect follow-up. Technology can be overwhelming but adopting a tech mindset will set you apart.

5. Take a break - We’ve all heard “work/life balance” – easier said than done sometimes – but taking a break is essential to avoiding a burnout. Whether a break means a 15 minute walk a day, reading a book in the evening, or turning your computer off at a certain time each day, taking some time to focus on you is critical to staying on your A-game, personally and professionally.

As we close out this year, we want to thank you all for your business. We understand how challenging this year has been. We’re in this together and we’re looking forward to diving headfirst into 2021 with you. As always, we are here to support you and your team any way that we can.
