In talking with Support or other members of your team, you might have heard someone mention this. You also might have noticed some pages reference a timestamp like this: “As Of 08/02/2022 12:29 AM”. This is the time that all the data within your firm was synched and updated to the platform for reporting purposes. So how does this work and what does it mean?
Each night the system does a total “nightly process”, which updates every little detail input into the platform. Here is how your data is updated to show the most accurate numbers:
- The Accounting page is updated in its entirety first.
- Then all the invoices of deals, which are broken down per agent, are updated. This update includes the broker's gross fee, net fee, and company fee.
- Next, the system updates the Management page using the numbers previously updated.
- Regional data is updated, and then finally the calendar is updated.
While Realcore does continuously update as you work in the system, heavy number crunching pages mentioned above utilize saved data from this process. Summary, Production, and Cashflow tabs in Management are examples of this. You should click that link with the date and time to get real-time data, especially if you did a bunch of work in the system during the day and want to get a clear picture.
If you have any questions about how this works, or would like a better explanation of the nightly process, be sure to email us.
